PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  Moorestown High School is an upgrade and addition of an existing 156,000 s.f. 1950's building with outdated services for the Hi Tech requirements of the 90's. Approximately 30,000 s.f. of Science Labs and other specialty spaces are being added.

The existing perimeter window wall is being renovated and a new four pipe chilled/hot water distribution system will feed a perimeter unit ventilator. Ventilation was increased to comply with the latest codes. New 277v. indirect lighting with multiple switching is replacing the existing direct lighting system in the classrooms. All plumbing and fire alarm was upgraded to comply with ADA. Special systems included master clock, intercom (with telephone) PA, TV/audio, telephone with voice mail and structured wire. A new direct digital energy management system was also bid.

Construction Cost:  $12.0 million

Completion Date:  September 1998
