more than 100 students over its 1410 student capacity with more students on the
way in the upcoming school years.
It will be three stories tall and have 63 classrooms, a 1000-seat auditorium, a
gym that can hold 2250 people and a cafeteria that will seat 725. The building
will be made of brick and stone, with long rows of windows and a rectangular
clock tower.
The new high school will include a number of unique features including: science
labs, art rooms, music/instrumental/vocal rooms, fitness and weight lifting
areas, CADD and computer rooms, a photo studio, industrial arts spaces,
performing stage with a separate control room, TV and radio studios,
agricultural program related spaces such as a green house, a storage barn and an
animal laboratory, family and consumer science spaces, cafeteria, media center,
and athletic fields.
